Hershey is about nine years old(which is about middle aged for a Doxie). She came into rescue when her owner couldn't treat her back problems and instead left her outside or in the garage for a year and a half. She is truly one of the funniest dogs I've ever known. She's a born clown and her looks reflect it. She had big ears that stick out to the side most of the time and rotate with her moods. She loves to talk to you and tell you what she wants. She loves to be scratched by your feet but only at night. She'll sit right in front of you and start her jabbering to convince you to put your foot down and scratch her. She loves destroying stuffed squeaky toys and can build incredible blanket castles to burrow in.

She has been going to rehab and receiving laser therapy and acupuncture to help with her back. She wouldn't need to continue rehab per se but will need to be walked on a regular basis to continue strengthening her back and leg muscles. She does occassionally have problems with dribbling but if taken out on a regular basis, does use the bathroom outside. She is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm and parasite free, spayed and microchipped. She has had some problems with UTIs because of the pooled urine that sat in her bladder all that time. Other than that, she is very healthy and active. She gets along great with all our other dogs and loves cuddling with them. She is good with children although they would need to be old enough to be respectful of her back. She is a sweet girl and would make a great companion for someone but most people don't look past her frosting face and funny walk to see what an entertaining little dog she is. Blaze- 1 year old male beagle basset mix? good with other dogs. Very sweet but needs to learn manners.

Cleo- 7 month old female Catahoula. Good with other dogs but has food guarding issues. UTD on shots.

Copper- 5 year old male basset mix. NOT good with other dogs. Neutered and UTD on shots.

Lady- 5-8 year old female beagle. Looks like she was used for breeding. Good with other dogs.

Marky Mark- 3 year old male beagle. Newest one he is in rough shape. Good with other dogs.

Pookie bear- 3 year old female shepherd. Has trust issues and seems to have been abused. Has 5 puppies around 9 weeks.

Robert- 8 yr old male beagle. Blind in one eye. He thinks he is 8 months lol. good with dogs not cats.

Star- 11 year old female JRT mix. Good with other dogs.

Taz- 1 year old male shepherd lab mix. Shy but sweet. Has food guarding issues with other dogs but otherwise fine with them.

Susie- 2 year old female ??? about 18 lbs. Good with dogs.

Norma- female rottweiler mix. Good with dogs not good with other animals.

Nola- 3 year old female Newfie lab mix. Good with dogs not good with other animals.

Senior female Rat Terrier who only has one tooth super sweet and lovey.

1 year old male Pit Bull. Neutered and UTD. Blind in one eye. Picky about doggy friends.
